Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Aviate Labs (Private) Ltd. (company registration no. PV00268388), a company incorporated in Sri Lanka ("Aviate Labs," "we," "us"), collects and how we use it across our digital properties — including this website, the Keystone consultancy service, and any mobile applications we publish under Aviate Labs (Private) Ltd. on the Apple App Store and Google Play (together, the "Services").

Scope

This policy applies to every website, application, and digital service operated by Aviate Labs, unless a specific product links to a separate privacy policy of its own — in which case that policy governs for that product. Where our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, this policy is provided in addition to, not in place of, Apple's and Google's own privacy terms governing those stores.

Information we collect

When you contact us — by email, through a form, or on a call — we collect what you choose to share, which may include:

Your name and contact details (email, phone number)
Your company name and information about your business or project
Any other details you include in your message to us

When you use one of our mobile or web apps, we may also collect:

Account information, if the app requires you to sign up or log in
Device information such as device model, operating system, and unique device or advertising identifiers
Usage data, such as which features you use and how often, collected via analytics tools
Crash and diagnostic logs, to help us fix bugs and improve stability
Push notification tokens, if you opt in to notifications
Any content or permissions you explicitly grant the app (e.g. camera, photos, location), only for the purpose the app describes at the time of the request

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this website beyond what's needed to serve the fonts and basic page functionality. Individual apps may use additional analytics or crash-reporting providers, disclosed in the app's own listing or in-app disclosures where required by the App Store or Google Play.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation
To scope and deliver services if you become a client
To operate, maintain, and improve our apps and other digital services
To send you service-related notifications you've opted into, and to respond to support requests
To keep records required for our own accounting and legal compliance in Sri Lanka

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver agreed services (e.g. a subcontractor on a project you've approved, or a hosting/analytics/crash-reporting provider that processes data on our behalf), or where required by law.

App Store and Google Play

Our mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Each app's store listing includes a data-safety or privacy "nutrition label" summarising the specific data that app collects, consistent with this policy. Purchases, subscriptions, and payment details are handled directly by Apple or Google under their own respective privacy and payment terms — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep enquiry, client, and app account information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required under Sri Lankan law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion of your app account and associated data at any time, subject to the section below.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require us to retain it. To do so, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, including as we add new apps or services. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
